MP, Member of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Finance, Tax and Customs Policy, Member of the Interparliamentary Relations Group with the United Kingdom of Great Britain.
Mrs. Vasylchenko is a Ukrainian political and public figure. Most of her activities are devoted to SME issues and protection of local budget revenues.
Education:
In 2005 Mrs. Vasylchenko graduated from the Faculty of International Relations of Ivan Franko National University of Lviv, specialty “International Economic Relations”.
In 2008 she graduated from the Faculty of Law of Ivan Franko National University of Lviv.
During 2014-2019, Halyna completed a number of programs at the UCU Lviv Business School (Good governance, Innovations across borders, Good governance for good leaders) and the Project Management program at the UCU Institute of Leadership and Management.
Career:
From 2002 to 2007 Mrs. Vasylchenko worked as a specialist in international economic relations in the private sector.
During 2007-2017 she worked in the Investment Department of the Lviv City Council, where she went from chief specialist to head of the investment department.
After that she worked as a deputy director at the private enterprise “Corbiz”.
Public and political activities:
From 2014 to 2019 she was an active member of two public organizations “Best Sykhiv” and “Institute of International Economic Research”.
From 2017 to 2019 – headed the Economic Expert Group of the Ukrainian Galician Party, where she and her team developed many projects and initiatives in the field of budget and financial decentralization, heat supply, SME development, transport, energy efficiency, tax system, solid waste management and market land.
In 2019, she won the 118th constituency m in the parliamentary elections from the Voice party.
