Lucian BODE is a Romanian politician who has been serving as Minister of Internal Affairs as of December
23, 2020. He previously served as Minister of Transport, Infrastructure and Communications (2019-2020) and
Minister of Economy, Trade and Business Environment (2012) in the Romanian Government.
Mr. Bode has been a member of the Chamber of Deputies, representing the Sălaj County since 2008. He is affiliated
with the National Liberal Party (PNL) and holds the position of Secretary General. He studied engineering at
the University of Oradea, Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science before earning his master degree
in security studies at Babeș-Bolyai University of Cluj-Napoca.
He holds a PhD degree in international relations and European studies since 2019. He is married and has 2 children.
